This college is considered as one of the best colleges of India for the study of Arts, Commerce and Science stream. Initially, it was affiliated to Mysore University later it was brought into affiliation with Bangalore University. Established in 1948, it is run by the sisters of the csst order.  To get Management Quota Direct Admission Students who have completed two-year Pre-University Course in Arts/Science/Commerce of Karnataka or Equivalent there to, are eligible to seek admission to BBA Degree Course.
