Christ University was born out of the educational vision of
St Kuriakose Elias Chavara, an educationalist and social reformer of the
nineteenth century in South India. He founded the first Catholic indigenous
congregation, Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), in 1831 which administers
Christ University.
Established in 1969 as Christ College, it undertook path
breaking initiatives in Indian higher education with the introduction of
innovative and modern curricula, insistence on academic discipline, imparting
of Holistic Education and adoption of global higher education practices with
the support of creative and dedicated staff. The University Grants Commission
(UGC) of India conferred Autonomy to Christ College in 2004 and identified it
as an Institution with Potential for Excellence in 2006. In 2008 under Section
3 of the UGC Act, 1956, the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the
Government of India, declared the institution a Deemed to be University, in the
name and style of Christ University. One of the first institutions in India to
be accredited in 1998 by the NAAC, and subsequently in 2004 and 2016, Christ
University has the top grade ‘A’ in the 4-point scale.
The multi-disciplinary University which focuses on teaching
research and service, offers Bachelors to Doctoral programmes in humanities,
social sciences, science, commerce, management, engineering, education and law

The School of Law, Christ University (SLCU), Bangalore, is
approved by the Bar Council of India to conduct the B.B.A L.L.B (Honours)
course. The school offers a five-year integrated B.B.A LLB program, the
successful completion of which will earn the student a B.B.A L.LB degree
(Honours) to be awarded by Christ University.
In addition to the mandatory courses over the ten semester
program, The School of Law, Christ University has introduced for the benefit of
its students numerous other value-added courses and programs aimed at putting
the student on par with standard of legal education imparted at the best
international universities.
In this School of law, knowledge of law is imparted by a
teaching - learning process; teaching is supplemented by a variety of skills, such
as skills in advocacy, legal writing, research, and management of time.
The courses are specifically designed keeping in mind the

Basic eligibility for Direct Admission BBA LLB Management
Quota seats is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS /
State Boards) in any stream with minimum score of 45% (Humanities, Social
Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognised Board in
India. Students pursuing International curriculum must have AIU approval and
must obtain a grade of not less than 'C' or its equivalent.
Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2017 may
apply with their class X and XI marks to get BBA LLB Management Quota Direct
Admission
The candidates should also be below the age of 20 years as
on July 01, 2017.

Candidates will be intimated about the Selection status
(Selected / Wait Listed / Not Selected) through the “Application Status” link
on the University website. The Selection results will be declared as mentioned
in the important dates link.
Note: Candidates must note that if selected, admission is
provisional and subject to University rules.
The selected candidates must process admission at the Office
of Admissions as per the stipulated date, time and venue mentioned in the offer
of admission card.
Admission will not be
processed without the presence of the candidate and the mandatory Original
Documents mentioned below;

1. Original Class 10 Marks Statement (Mandatory).
2. Class 12 Marks Statement, if candidate has appeared and
passed the examination (Mandatory).
3. Transfer Certificate (TC) (Mandatory).
4. Migration Certificate (applicable for all candidates
except Karnataka state board applicants) (Mandatory).
5. One full set of Photocopies of all the above mentioned
documents (Mandatory).
6. Two Stamp size and two passport size photograph
(Mandatory).
7. The stipulated fee in Demand Draft / Cash / Online
Payment (Mandatory).
8. Two Copies of the Demand Draft / Online Payment Receipt
(In case Program Fee paid through DD / Online) (Mandatory).
9. Copy of valid address / ID proof (Aadhar Card)
(Mandatory).
10. For International Students, the following additional
documents have to be submitted:
a] Passport and Visa Details
b] Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any recognized
medical practitioner certified by the Medical Council of India and
c] Resident Permit (RP)
All mandatory documents mentioned above must be submitted
during the admission process. An undertaking for pending original documents
unavailable currently [applicable only for candidates writing/passing their
exam in March – June 2017], must be submitted to the Office of Admissions.
These documents must be submitted on or before July 15, 2017. Failure to submit
the pending documents will be treated as unsuccessful in the qualifying
examination or considered “Not Eligible” and admission will be terminated from
Christ University without any claim.
